Help us reproduce a problem

Include the tool name, a public company identifier or SEC source link, the approximate time, and the error message. Remove private conversation text, passwords, keys, and other sensitive information before sending. A short description is usually enough.

Common questions

The assistant cannot connect

Use the complete MCP endpoint, including /mcp, and select no authentication. Check whether your assistant or workspace permits custom remote connections. Opening the MCP endpoint as an ordinary web page is not a complete connection test.

A request is slow or rate limited

SEC access is shared and deliberately paced. Wait before retrying, reduce the requested range, and follow any retry guidance in the response. SEC availability and upstream access limits can affect results.

A filing section or fact is missing

Coverage varies across forms, document formats, and XBRL taxonomies. Check the original SEC record, try a narrower request, and inspect pagination. An empty result does not establish that a company made no disclosure.

A comparison looks inconsistent

Check the concept, currency, unit, fiscal period, duration, and amendments for each company. Accounting definitions and fiscal calendars can differ. This service does not determine whether an investment is suitable.

Privacy and security

For deletion requests, read the privacy policy and contact the address above. For a security report, describe the issue and affected route without sending exploit data containing private information. We do not publish a guaranteed response time.
